Why verification is required
To ensure the safety, compliance, and integrity of our platform, all users who wish to become members of The Fetish Network must complete a one-time ID and age verification process.
This requirement applies to all users globally, and reflects our commitment to maintaining a secure space for adults only, in line with relevant regulations (including the UK Online Safety Act).
How it works
- We use Veriff as our verification service provider — a trusted identity and age verification platform.
- You’ll complete a quick video selfie and upload a government-issued photo ID.
- This is a one-time verification process linked to your account.
- You will not be able to access membership features until verification is complete.
Accepted IDs
The following types of valid government-issued photo ID are accepted:
- Passport
- National ID Card
- Driver’s License (including provisional)
- Residence Permit
- Military or Government-Issued ID
- Refugee or International ID Cards
Privacy & data protection
Your ID document and verification video are used only for age and identity verification. All data is encrypted and processed securely via Veriff. We do not store your ID document images or your verification video. Veriff handles the verification session; once the check is complete, those materials are not retained by us.
We do store the verification result (whether you passed or failed) and limited details such as your name and date of birth, for compliance and safety. Retention of this data is in line with our Privacy Policy and our legal obligations.
